A panel discussion with PMI leaders and the deans of both UA Colleges of Medicine is planned for 5:30-7 p.m. Thursday, March 9, and all BUMG members are encouraged to attend to learn more about this historic research initiative launching this spring.
Panelists will be COM Deans Charles Cairns, MD, and Ken Ramos, MD, PhD; principal investigators Beth Calhoun, PhD, and Usha Menon, RN, PhD, and Clinical Research Manager Jorge Navarette, MD. This is a chance to get your questions answered and to share your views on the program’s implementation.
In Tucson, the panel discussion will be held in Room 5403 at Banner – University Medical Center Tucson, and live streamed to the WIS Prenatal Conference Room at Banner – UMC Phoenix. This discussion also will be available via livestream (password: PMI2017).
Light food and drinks will be served in both Tucson and Phoenix, so please RSVP by March 7 to precisionmedicine@email.arizona.edu if you plan to attend.
And in case you hadn’t heard, the NIH recently re-branded PMI to the more consumer-friendly “All of Us Research Program.”
