Aging and Our Immunity ~ The 2018 Living Healthy With Arthritis Conference

Led by Janko Nikolich-Zugich, MD, PhD, the University of Arizona Arthritis Center presents the 2018 Living Healthy With Arthritis Conference on Saturday, January 27, 2018.  Dr. Nikolich-Zugich will present the keynote address: 
Aging and Our Immunity: An international expert’s inside look at understanding the mechanisms of immunity, the changes that occur with age and leading-edge research on how we can impact these changes.

Dr. Nikolich-Zugich is the Co-Director of the Arizona Center on Aging, Professor and Department Head of Immunobiology, Associate Director of the UA Biology of Aging Research Program and the Bowman Endowed Professor in Medical Science.

An internationally-recognized expert on immunity, Dr. Nikolich-Zugich's research interests include vaccines and biomarkers of declining immunity in older adults, immune rejuvenation, immune monitoring in chronic conditions of aging, and the impact of inflammation and nutritional intervention in aging, immunity and metabolic disorders. Dr. Nikolich-Zugich is involved in studies of longevity and lifespan extension and has published more than 150 scientific papers and reviews. A highly sought-after presenter, he is honored to lecture on this subject across the globe.
