TOPIC: Dementia: A Primary Care Perspective
SPEAKER: Carlos Tafich, MD

Dr. Tafich grew up in Monterrey, Mexico.  After obtaining his Bachelors in Medicine and Surgery with highest honors from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, he completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Arizona.  He has since joined the Division of Geriatrics, General IM and Palliative Care at BUMC-South Campus.  He is currently a physician champion for the All of Us research program at South Campus.  He has also been engaged in Banner's Clinical Consensus Groups for the management of Dementia and Valley Fever in the primary care setting.  He is interested in general medicine with a focus on clinical practice improvement, rheumatic diseases and medical education.
