Presenter: Sabina Mian, MD
Title: Aortitis
Dr. Mian serves as an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the University of Arizona College of Medicine. She worked as a rheumatologist in a private practice in Tucson for four years after completing her Rheumatology Fellowship at the University of Southern California in 2007. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Nevada in 2004. She received her Bachelor’s and Medical degrees from Rawalpindi Medical College in Rawalpindi, Punjab, Pakistan in 2000.
Dr. Mian has been involved in several clinical trials for osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis, axial spondyloarthritis, osteoarthritis, gout, fibromyalgia, and psoriatic arthritis.
A member of the American College of Rheumatology, Dr. Mian has authored articles on adult leukemic synovitis and teaching methodology and curriculum of community medicine and its role in health service delivery. She is also the recipient of the Parson’s Academic Scholarship.
Dr. Mian is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology.
