AzAHEC Offers Free Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Waiver Training Starting Feb. 14

Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) waiver training will be offered through the five Arizona Area Health Education Centers (AzAHEC) Regional Centers coordinated by the University of Arizona through four weekly 2-hour long sessions, Feb. 14-March 7. Physicians require eight hours of MAT training to apply to the Drug Enforcement Agency for a waiver to provide medication-assisted treatment for Opioid Use Disorder.
