Dr. Puvvada is a physician scientist and clinical translational researcher who is involved in investigator initiated trials, co-operative group trials, industry sponsored trials, and designs novel investigator initiated trials that bring exciting concepts from the bench to the bedside. She is a member of the Scientific Review Committee (SRC) at the University of Arizona Cancer Center and has a deep understanding of this process. Her trials are submitted through the SRC and she appreciates the reviews and feedback of the SRC. Likewise, she appreciates the opportunity to participate as a member of the SRC. The SRC is vital to patient safety and scientific growth and the functioning of the comprehensive cancer center. She is a faculty physician who specializes in the treatment of lymphoid malignancies including but not limited to Hodgkins Lymphoma, Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and Chronic Lymphocytic leukemia. In 2013, she was awarded a Charles A. Coltman, Jr., Fellowship from The Hope Foundation.
