The Petersen Clinics Pharmacy Group—aka T-Rx Group (or Team Rx)—is hosting a dinner and gathering at its next meet-your-pharmacist community event Thursday, April 17, 6:30 p.m., at the Feast Restaurant, 3719 E. Speedway, Blvd., Tucson.
The dinner is sponsored by Viiv Healthcare. Viiv is a pharmaceutical company specializing in development of therapies for HIV infection that was created as a joint venture by Pfizer and GlaxoSmithKline in November 2009 with both companies transferring their HIV assets to the new firm. In 2012, Shionogi joined the company.
These events offer patients, their friends and families direct access for medication questions about current, new and future treatments for human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and AIDS as well as an opportunity to learn tips for medication success.
