Rorak E. Hooten, MD

Dr. Hooten was raised in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He completed his bachelor's degree in physics at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minn. He then attended medical school at the Sanford School of Medicine at the University of South Dakota, graduating in 2013. He completed his residency training in internal medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Tucson and is applying for fellowship in Pulmonary-Critical Care. He has done research with Community Acquired Pneumonia in the ICU setting. He is primarily the Academic Conferences Chief for 2016-17. He enjoys running, hiking, skiing, grilling, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
