Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology Fellowship

Fellowship positions in this 1-year accredited program became available for incoming fellows starting in July 2017. The Advanced Heart Failure Fellowship program accepts one fellow annually. Applicants must have completed a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease and must be board eligible or board certified in Cardiovascular Disease. Applications will be taken through ERAS. Clinical rotations provide broad exposure to medical and surgical management for advanced heart failure, including mechanical circulatory support from LVAD to total artificial heart and a transplant program that has performed more than 900 heart transplants since the 1980s.
