The UA Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism and the Diabetes Prevention & Education Center (DPEC) at the Banner - University Medical Center South campus is sponsoring a health fair featuring tours of the facilities, screenings, exercise activities, healthy cooking demonstrations and brief sessions on nutrition, behavior and support for lifestyle changes both to prevent diabetes and to improve the lives of those living with diabetes and their families. Sponsors include the YMCA of Southern Arizona, American Diabetes Association, Beyond Bread, Bird's Nest Baking Company, Fox Restaurant Concepts (Blanco Tacos+Tequila, North Italia, Wildflower, Zinburger), Natural Grocers and Trattoria Pina Cucina Italiana. Come and meet some of our instructors and take the challenge to be entered in the big raffle.
