TOPIC: "Lung Inflammation Impairs Hypoxic Pulmonary Vasoconstriction Through Activation of NFAT"
SPEAKER: Dustin Fraidenburg, MD, Fellow, Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine, University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Fraidenburg earned his medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit and his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Mich. He did his residency also at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Among his writings to date are a book, book chapters and articles on pulmonary vascular disease, pulmonary vascular remodeling, pulmonary arterial hypertension and pulmonary hypertension. Several were co-authored with Jason X.-J. Yuan, MD, PhD, UA associate vice president for Translational Sciences and chief, Division of Translational and Regenerative Medicine.
