Founders Week Lecture with Dr. William Dalton

Dr. William Dalton served as dean of the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson, 2001-02. He obtained his doctorate in toxicology and medical life sciences as well as a medical degree at Indiana University, where he also completed his internship in medicine. He then completed a residency in medicine, a fellowship in oncology and a fellowship in clinical pharmacologyat the University of Arizona. 

His presentation will be about how data science will revolutionize medical research and healthcare.  Dr. Dalton will discuss the importance of business theory in developing and utilizing health information systems to create an “ecosystem of shared value through collective impact.”

The buffet lunch will begin at 11:30 a.m. and Dr. Dalton's presentation will start at noon.
