About the Speaker
Edward J. Bedrick, PhD, is a professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health and Assistant Director of the Statistics Laboratory. Dr. Bedrick came to Arizona from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, where he was Professor of Biostatistics and Director of the Biostatistics and Bioinformatics Shared Resource in the UC Cancer Center. His research interests include Bayesian methods, the analysis of observational data and generalized linear models. Dr. Bedrick has collaborated in a variety of fields including anthropology, ecology, nursing, nephrology, ob/gyn, pediatrics, psychiatry, and veterinary epidemiology. Dr. Bedrick received his PhD in statistics from the University of Minnesota. He is a Fellow of the American Statistical Association.
