Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology Fellowship

Throughout this one-year fellowship, Mohs and other surgical procedures will be performed under the supervision of the Program Director, Jason DuPont MD, an experienced American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS) approved Mohs surgeon. As the training year progresses, the fellow transitions to greater independence based on demonstrated clinical and surgical skills.

Dermatology

The University of Arizona Division of Dermatology at the College of Medicine – Tucson got its start in 1973 when Peter Lynch, MD, a University of Michigan dermatologist was named the first member of the section. Also serving as vice chair of the UA Department of Medicine, he stayed until 1986, leaving to become chair of the Department of Dermatology at the University of Minnesota and later at the University of California - Davis.

Our three-year residency program began in 1976, and currently has nine physicians in training.
