Title: "The Opioid Epidemic in America; Approaches to Diagnosis and Treatment"
Speaker Bio:

Dr. Lenn Ditmanson is a practicing internist in Tucson. He is the Medical Director of the 5th St. clinic and MAT Medical Director at ConnectionsAZ. He has been involved with opiate addiction treatment for 15 years.

"This presentation will review the history of Opiate use in medical practice leading to our current Opiate misuse epidemic, the physiology of Opiate compounds on the endorphin system and approaches to diagnosis and treatment of opioid dependency syndrome."
