TEDx Tucson presents "Redefining Next"

A TEDxTucson Salon
Sat, 10/14/2017 - 6:30pm to 9:30pm

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Good ideas, money, management, hard work (and some luck) - At Apio we know what it takes to commercialize innovations. We enjoy learning about new research, innovations, and technologies to determine how they can be commercialized. After working at three universities, establishing and growing technology transfer offices, working with hundreds of innovators and entrepreneurs, having evaluated hundreds of innovations, and participating in the launch of over a hundred startups, I co-founded Apio in 2012.
