It’s basketball season and Banner Health has an all-out, full-court press on for filming video profiles of physicians practicing at its two hospitals and multiple outpatient care facilities in Tucson, including Banner – University Medical Center Tucson and Banner – UMC South.
Last fall and this winter, video crews from the Los Angeles area has been busy interviewing physicians on camera for the videos, which are posted to Banner Health’s YouTube channel online (see “Meet Our Physicians” section) as well as linked to the individual physician’s profile at the BannerHealth.com website.
Drs. Monica Kraft, Khadijah Breathett and Hemanth Gavini (top to bottom right) were among DOM physicians to have their Banner Health video profiles shot recently. See links to doctors whose videos are already posted at the bottom of this news item.
The videos are filmed by Brentwood, Calif.’s Lightbox Libraries, which took over this Banner project in October 2017 to accelerate an effort ongoing for three years. Launched in 2010, Lightbox largely specializes in production of complex photo and video shoots for Fortune 100 companies, delivering custom imagery “on brand.” Among its clients are Nielsen Media, Four Seasons Hotels, Kaiser Permanente, McKesson, Robert Half, CSAA and Canyon Ranch Resorts.
According to an FAQ document, the rationale for the profile videos is to “give prospective patients an intimate view of your practice and patient care philosophy, helping you to build your practice and rank above your competitors as patients search for physicians online.”
To date, Lightbox crews have recorded 508 videos for Banner Health. They’re loaded into the physicians’ Banner Health profiles about six weeks after they’re recorded. The videos are also viewable from DOM Directory profiles for physicians affiliated with the UA Department of Medicine.
