Integrative Health Coaching Graduate Carries National Flag at IAEDP Symposium

Rosanna Mauro carries Costa Rican flag at IAEDP SymposiumUniversity of Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine integrative health coaching graduate Rosanna Mauro carried the flag of Costa Rica—her home country—during opening ceremonies for the IAEDP 2018 Symposium.

The event, which serves as the annual conference for the International Association of Eating Disorders ProfessionalsIAEDP 2018 Symposium logo, was held March 22-25 in ChampionsGate, Florida, near Orlando. It’s theme was “Focus on Neuroscience: Magic of the Mind and Language of the Body.”

She graduated from the IH Coaching certification program in 2017. The six-month training program, that began in 2014, is open to:

  • Graduates of the AzCIM’s Integrative Health & Lifestyle program (IHeLp) or Fellowship programs
  • Any American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine (ABOIM) board-certified physician
  • UA Center for Integrative Medicine logoGraduates of AzCIM’s IM in Residency (IMR) or Pediatric IMR at our more than 70 partner IM Residency sites
  • Anyone who has a Master's degree in Integrative Health and Medicine or a related field

To date, the program has had 56 graduates. It is led by UA assistant professor Robert “Rocky” Crocker, MD. The next class begins in November. For more information, visit www.azcim.org/coaching.
