UA Sarver Heart Center Presents: ‘New Interventional Procedures for Heart Disease’ – March 15 in Green Valley

Tom A. Lassar, MD, professor of medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson, will discuss New Interventional Procedures for Heart Disease, the last offering in this season’s University of Arizona Sarver Heart Center Green Valley Lecture Series, Thursday, March 15, at 10 a.m.

The lecture will take place at Canoa Hills Social Center, 3660 S. Camino del Sol, Green Valley. No reservation is required; refreshments are provided.

Interventional cardiology is a rapidly advancing field,  offering patients more sophisticated, improved, less painful and less invasive treatments for  coronary and valvular heart disease, as well as shorter hospital stays.

The talk will focus on some of the recent highlights.

The lecture series is free and open to the public and includes time for questions and answers.
