Call for proposals: Cancer Center Team Science Award

Purpose: This seed funding program is intended to provide support for teams to submit a large multi-investigator application (i.e., P01, U01, etc.; not multi-PI R01s) within 1 to 1.5 years from the date of award.

Eligibility: The principal investigator must be a UACC Member, and the majority of project leaders and co-investigators must be members of the UACC. Project leaders should have NIH or DoD external peer-reviewed funding to be competitive for eventual submission of a large multi-PI grant. Faculty at any level are eligible to apply including assistant, associate or full professors on the tenure track, research track, clinical scholar track or clinical track. Faculty who are interested in applying but who are not currently Cancer Center members can apply for membership.

Funding amount: Applicants may request up to $200,000.

Anticipated project period: The project period will be one year from the start date.

Application process: Applications are submitted via Arizona Cultivate. Applications are accepted and reviewed semiannually.
