In addition to serving as a preceptor for the UA Department of Medicine, Devin A. Mikles, MD, MD(H), FACP, is CEO and Medical Director of Choices Integrative Healthcare of Sedona, LLC, founded in 1998. He is also the founder and president of the Choices Foundation for Health Education and Research [a 501c(3) public benefit corporation]. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. He is a licensed Homeopathic Physician in the state of Arizona. Dr. Mikles has been strongly committed to the development of integrated healthcare delivery systems since 1980. He has been a leader in public and professional health education in his region. Dr. Mikles has been a hospice medical director since 1994, and has a deep commitment to assisting others through the transition from this life. He has been a student of multiple other systems of healing since 1969. His integrative medicine practice has a strong focus on prevention, health risk assessment and management, nutritional and functional medicine, chronic disease management, interdisciplinary patient treatment programs and humanism in medicine. His primary vision and goal through the last 25 years has been to assist in the development of new paradigms of healing for our planet. The manifest vehicle for this vision is the creation of “interdisciplinary community healing systems.”
