Inspired by her mother’s battle with breast cancer, Rocio Gastelum-Castillo, a first-year medical student who grew up in Nogales, Mexico, aspires to give hope to future patients and help them stay healthy.
Gastelum-Castillo is the inaugural recipient of the Mosharrafa Family Scholarship, which is funded by Beauty for Good, a charity created by plastic surgeons Ali and Tamir Mosharrafa, MD, owners of Mosharrafa Plastic Surgery.
