The Sarver Heart Center lecture series at the University of Arizona Osher Lifelong Learning Institute will continue in 2024 with a four-part lecture series in March and April. The lectures take place on Fridays from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. between March 22 and April 12.
On Friday, March 29th, Elizabeth Juneman, MD—interim chief, Division of Cardiology; interim director, Sarver Heart Center; associate professor, Department of Medicine; and medical director, Advanced Heart Failure and Transplantation, Banner – University Medical Center Tucson and South—will present on mindfulness to reduce stress and improve heart health. After her presentation, Sheila Kressler will lead a stress-reducing, chair-based yoga class, and Lara Bianco will offer a guided, heart-centered meditation.
