Helping and supporting others can be a wonderful experience that can uplift us daily. However, at times, helping others can pull on us in a way that drains us or causes burnout, leading to compassion fatigue. This workshop aims to examine compassion fatigue and how implementing some anchors may help us regain balance.
In collaboration with the Arizona Department of Administration Benefits and the Healthwaves corporate wellness team, Life & Work Connections offers free flu shot clinics on campus each year.
These clinics are open to benefits-eligible University of Arizona employees and all dependents covered by their medical plans, including spouses and children age 4 and older. University retirees are also welcome.
Registration is required, as is a flu shot consent form.
What comes to mind when you hear the word self-care? Does the thought of adding a self-care activity to your never-ending to-do list stress you out? Do you often feel as if there is never enough time to practice self-care? This presentation discusses misconceptions regarding self-care and how we can successfully integrate it into our lives.
