The Shubitz and Women's student-run clinics are excited to announce the second annual C.U.P. & Gown Fundraiser! About three dozen people came to learn about the Phase 1 New Therapeutics Program at the University of Arizona Cancer Center on Thursday, July 28, during an Open House at the center’s North Campus outpatient clinic, 3838 N. Campbell Ave., that featured Daruka Mahadevan, MD, PhD, director of the UACC Phase I Clinical Trials Program.
Several professors from the UA Department of Medicine participated in the Class of 2020 White Coat Ceremony for incoming medical students to the UA College of Medicine – Tucson, held Friday, July 29, in Centennial Hall.
For four years, students at the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Tucson have worked toward "Match Day" - the day they learn where they will spend the next several years as resident-physicians. Members of the Class of 2017 will receive traditional Match Day letters which will indicate where they will complete their residency training.
