The medical curriculum within the Division of Dermatology provides a rich and varied educational and training experience for medical students, residents and fellows alike. It offers opportunities to train, work and assist in research at the Banner – University Medical Center Tucson and South hospitals, the UA Cancer Center, Southern Arizona VA Health Care System and with private practices in the community.
Medical Student Education
Medical students at the UA College of Medicine – Tucson participate in a variety of clinical and educational experiences through our Division. They also have access to elective courses relating to all of the subspecialties within the UA Department of Medicine.
See the College of Medicine – Tucson course catalog for specific courses and descriptions. Current medical students interested in dermatology, skin cancer and plastic surgery should also explore the opportunities offered by student clubs in these areas. See the MedCats website (NetID login required) for more information.
