This lecture is hosted by the University of Arizona Center on Aging Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Program in conjunction with the Division of Geriatrics, General Internal Medicine and Palliative Medicine, Department of Medicine, UA College of Medicine - Tucson.

Objectives:

  1. Describe the sustainable ambulatory process designed to increase recognition and support of older adult patients with dementia.
  2. Describe the referral process to the Alzheimer’s Association – Desert Southwest Chapter.
  3. Describe the role the Alzheimer’s Association – Desert Southwest Chapter has in caring for older adult patients with dementia.
