Dr. Ching-Hsien (Jean) Chen is a cancer researcher who currently is at the University of California – Davis, where she is assistant adjunct professor in the Division of Nephrology, Department of Internal Medicine. Dr. Chen's research focuses on the molecular mechanisms of cancer, including the formation of molecular complexes on cancer progression. She has identified several metastasis-related genes and analyzed their mechanism of action and is engaged in exploring the feasibility of specific peptides in controlling cancer malignancy by interfering with protein activity and protein-protein interactions.
