TOPIC: “How to evaluate numbness and tingling in a Sjögren’s syndrome (SS) patient” and “CNS Vasculopathies: Challenging Mimickers of primary angiitis of the central nervous system”

Dr. Hassan is a second-year Rheumatology Fellow in the University of Arizona’s College of Medicine. She completed a six-year medical program and earned her Medical Doctorate at the University of Baghdad. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Hurley Medical Center/Michigan State University in 2014.  Her research interests include: hospitalization causes and outcomes in individuals with systemic lupus erythematosus, the utility of antinuclear antibody testing in inpatient populations, risk factors for disability in low back pain using Oswestry disability scale, and Fibromyalgia syndrome among patients with bronchial asthma. She is a member of the Iraqi Medical Association and the Society of Rehabilitation, Rheumatology, and Handicapped Care.
