About the Speaker:
Holding a dual appointment at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson in medicine and emergency medicine, Dr. Cameron Hypes earned his medical degree from Ohio State University along with a master's degree in public health (MPH – Clinical Investigation) in 2010. His bachelor's degree, earned also from Ohio State in 2005, was in microbiology/biochemistry (magna cum laude). Before coming to the University of Arizona, he completed his Residency in Emergency Medicine at Detroit's Henry Ford Hospital, where he also served as Chief Resident in 2013. His fellowship at the UArizona College of Medicine - Tucson in both Internal Medicine and Critical Care Medicine was completed at Banner – University Medical Center Tucson in 2015. He is associate director of the intensive care unit (ICU) at Banner – UMC Tucson.
