Presenter:  Hani Rashid, DO
Title:  Rheumatic Immune-Related Adverse Events

Hani Rashid, DO is a first year Rheumatology Fellow in the University of Arizona College of Medicine.  He earned his bachelor's degree in Psychobiology at UCLA in 2008 and went on to complete a doctorate in osteopathic medicine at the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine/Midwestern University in 2014.  He completed his internal medicine residency at Methodist Health Systems in Dallas, Texas, where he served as Chief Resident.

Recognized as an American College of Physicians (ACP) Young Achiever at the 2017 ACP Annual Internal Medicine meeting, Dr. Rashid was also a two-time recipient of the T.O.U.C.H. (Translating Osteopathic Understanding into Community Health) Gold award for volunteering over 200 hours during medical school.  He is a resident member of the American College of Rheumatology, the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association, and the Society of Hospital Medicine.
