Susan Stryker, Ph.D. - Distinguished Keynote Speaker

Dr. Stryker is an award-winning scholar and Emmy-award winning filmmaker whose historical research, theoretical writing, and creative works have helped shape the cultural conversation on transgender topics since the early 1990s. She earned her Ph.D. in United States History from UC Berkeley, and later held a postdoctoral fellowship in Sexuality Studies at Stanford University. Susan also worked for several years as the Executive Director of the GLBT Historical Society in San Francisco.

The UAHS LGBTQ+ Interest Group will showcase a number of LGBTQ+ community resources and research.
