Alejandro Recio-Boiles, MD

Graduated 2010 (3rd of his class)  from the School of Medicine, Universidad Autonoma de San Luis Potosí, San Luis Potosi, MX, Proceeded with a Postdoctoral Clinical Translational Fellowship (authoring Pancreatic Cancer Research) at University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX, USA until 2013, Completed his Internal Medicine Residency (Focused on Cancer Detection QI project and Cachexia Radiological Biomarker Screening) at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York City, NY, USA and came to the University of Arizona to complete his Hematology and Oncology Fellowship ( Reviewing Cancer-associated thrombosis practices), transitioning in 2019 to Assistant Professor for the GU/GI/Early Phase Medical Oncology Section Hematology and Medical Oncology Division, Department of Medicine University of Arizona Comprehensive Cancer Center.  He currently is a Fellow on the American College of Physicians, serving the Arizona Chapter- Planning Committee, likewise involved in The Arizona Clinical Oncology Society- Board of Directors and involved in Community Outreach and Education to impact Health care Disparities. Current Research interest is studying and meeting the treatment gaps in Bladder Cancer.
