The University of Arizona Internal Medicine Residency Program will host a Research Mixer networking event on Monday, June 19, 9 a.m.-2 p.m., in the College of Medicine – Tucson's Social Hall, which is on the 2nd Floor west of the elevators just south of the Banner – University Medicine Tucson offices.
This Research Mixer provides a vibrant welcome for incoming interns as well as an opportunity to jump start their research prospects within the Department of Medicine by meeting with residents, fellows, faculty and staff involved in research here. Your presence as a possible mentor or someone to touch base with from time to time for advice for these residency trainees in their first year would be invaluable. If you also have collaborative opportunities in your research the interns may take advantage of to help advance your work while gaining hands-on experience, all the better.
Beverages, snacks and other refreshments will be available.
We expect interns, residents, fellows and faculty to be dropping in on a staggered basis over the duration of the mixer as their schedules allow. Come make a positive impression on a new trainee's career. Put this on your schedule by clicking on the "Add to Calendar" link above right.
