Kristen Pogreba-Brown, PhD, MPH

Dr. Pogreba Brown is an associate professor of epidemiology at the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health at the University of Arizona. Her research is focused on the acute and long-term epidemiology and microbiology of bacterial foodborne pathogens and outbreak investigation methodologies. Her research activities focused on the post-infectious sequelae of infectious diseases have aligned her to focus new studies on the incidence and risk factors of post-acute sequelae of SARS-CoV-2. Dr. Pogreba-Brown goals are to investigate the mechanisms of pathogenesis seen in these diseases/conditions to the broader public health and epidemiologic data.
