Overview
A half-day CME activity designed to improve lung cancer screening rates and increase therapeutic options available to patients diagnosed with lung cancer. Specific presentation topics that will be addressed include: - Who qualifies for lung cancer screening and who doesn't? - What to do with incidental lung nodules? - Labs, risk scores and adjuncts to imaging - Surgery for early stage lung cancer - Radiation/Cryo/Galvanize for early stage lung cancer - Clinical trials in early stage lung cancer - Advances in Interventional Pulmonolgy - Advances in surgery - ERAS for lung surgery. Registration Fees: $80 MDs, NPs, PAs; $40 residents/fellows/RNs, other providers; $20 medical students/others.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Counsel eligible patients on the benefits of lung cancer screening.
  2. Screen for and diagnose early lung cancer, and refer for invasive diagnostic testing as appropriate.
  3. Employ appropriate diagnostic modalities (either navigational bronchoscopy or minimally invasive surgical options).
  4. Utilize both surgical and non-surgical treatment options for early lung cancer, depending on the impact on patient quality of life.
