About the presenter: 
Linda Jepkoech Kimaru, MPH, is a PhD candidate in Health Promotions Health Behavior, with a minor in Epidemiology at the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health. She has over 10 years of experience in HIV prevention and treatment research in the U. S. and internationally. Her work over the years involved improving testing and testing options; HIV vaccine trial preparation among high-risk groups and identifying unmet needs for those living with HIV. Her dissertation research focuses on the intersection of community factors and health outcomes, specifically examining how people living with HIV are impacted by their perception of disorder in their neighborhoods. This area of study highlights the importance of considering socio-ecological determinants in the management of HIV.
