Immunobiology Seminar: ‘Single-cell to tissue-scale memory of infection and inflammation’

Thu, 03/21/2024 - 12:30pm to 1:30pm

The Department of Immunobiology Seminar Series presents:

“Single-Cell to Tissue-Scale Memory of Infection and Inflammation”

Presenter Details

Jose Ordovas-Montanes, PhD
Research Faculty, Division of Gastroenterology, Boston Children's Hospital
Assistant Professor, Harvard Medical School

The Ordovas-Montanes Lab is developing an interdisciplinary training environment composed of immunologists, engineers, computational biologists, and others that harnesses emerging techniques to answer fundamental questions of biological and clinical relevance in barrier tissue biology. They use a variety of techniques such as single-cell RNA-sequencing (scRNA-seq), organoid models, epigenetic profiling, flow cytometry, and microscopy in an effort to answer pressing questions surrounding human health and disease.
