The first-ever Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) CME Conference, scheduled to be an annual event, will take place on Sept. 7 at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson Social Hall (Room 2500) from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The conference will provide education on the care of complex pancreas, liver, and bile duct issues, particularly as the relate to cancer prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
For those attending in person, breakfast will be served beginning at 7 a.m. and a formal welcome will kickoff the symposium at 7:50 a.m.

The 1st Annual Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) CME Conference will take place on September 7, 2024 at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson Social Hall, located at the University of Arizona, 1501 N Campbell Ave, Tucson, AZ 85724. The conference will provide education on the care of complex pancreas, liver, and bile duct issues. Leading experts in the fields of HPB surgery, medical oncology, surgical oncology, interventional gastroenterology, and interventional radiology will discuss the multidisciplinary management of the difficult gallbladder, bile duct injuries, pancreatic cancer, acute and chronic pancreatitis, benign and malignant liver mases, and gastroesophageal cancers, with multidisciplinary case discussions included. This conference is a great learning opportunity for general surgeons, oncologists, gastroenterologists, primary care physicians, and HPB specialists who care for these patients.
