About the Presenter:
Dr. Alex Perry is a recovering biomedical engineer, graduating with a bachelor's and master’s degree in bioengineering from Arizona State University. He received his medical degree from the University of Arizona in Tucson before fleeing to cooler climates to complete his internal medicine training at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, OR and his infectious disease fellowship at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He is an Assistant Professor of Infectious Disease at Banner-University Medical Center Tucson where aside from practicing as a general infectious disease physician, he serves as medical director of the Outpatient Parenteral Antibiotic Therapy (OPAT) program.
