David M. Liebovitz, MD, is an associate professor of medicine at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine, where he serves as the associate vice chair for clinical informatics in the Department of Medicine. With over 30 years of experience in internal medicine and clinical informatics, Dr. Liebovitz brings a unique blend of medical expertise and technological innovation to healthcare.
Board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Clinical Informatics, Dr. Liebovitz has held leadership roles including chief medical information officer at the University of Chicago Medicine and Chief Medical Informatics Officer at Northwestern Medical Faculty Foundation. His research focuses on leveraging technology to enhance patient safety, improve clinical decision support and advance medical education.
Dr. Liebovitz is a Fellow of the American Medical Informatics Association and has been at the forefront of integrating artificial intelligence into healthcare systems. He currently co-directs the Center for Medical Education in Data Science and Digital Health at Northwestern's Institute for Augmented Intelligence in Medicine, where he leads initiatives to prepare the next generation of physicians for a technology-driven healthcare landscape.
