About the Presenter: Dr. Avila joined the University of Arizona’s Division of Infectious Diseases as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine. Her research focuses on treating infections in patients who inject drugs, with particular interest in new approaches to infective endocarditis and care for vulnerable patient populations.
