Do you occasionally miss a lecture or seminar because you weren’t able to easily add it to your smartphone or computer calendar? Never again.
If you haven’t checked out the Events webpage at the UA Department of Medicine website lately, a new tool has been added that enables you to add an event to your personal itinerary via iCalendar, Outlook, Google or Yahoo calendar.
See a conference, grand rounds, lecture, seminar, symposium or workshop you’re interested in attending, you have two options: 1) click on “Download event” next to the iCal icon on the DOM Events homepage, or 2) click through to the event and click on “Add to Calendar” in the body of the event description.

In this way, you can be sure to get reminders so you never miss an event that matters to you or your specialty. This capability is available to whomever visits the DOM website, whether a student, resident, fellow, faculty, community physician or member of the public.
