Flu season is just around the corner (or already here, if you ask UA Campus Health) and its time to get your free vaccine to keep yourself, your colleagues and close friends and family fully immunized and healthy.
University of Arizona
Life & Work Connections flu shot clinics begin Sept. 29 in the UA Student Union Memorial Center South Ballroom and will continue for two weeks at various sites on the University of Arizona campus in Tucson.
Closer to home, those include:
■ FRIDAY, Oct. 6
9 a.m. – noon, Arizona Health Sciences – “Farmer’s Market Plaza” (Building 201)
1 – 2:30 p.m., Arizona Health Sciences – “Farmer’s Market Plaza” (Building 201)
■ THURSDAY, Oct. 12
9 a.m. – noon, Keating BIO5, Room 103 (Building 240)
1 – 2:30 p.m., UA Cancer Center North, 3838 N. Campbell, North campus, Room 2114
Flu shots are free of charge for UA and state of Arizona employees eligible for full benefits and they are free for their spouses and dependents. Required for flu shot: Employee ID number (EIN), completed flu shot consent form and health insurance card. UA Campus Health will host special flu clinics on the UA Mall, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 17, Thursday, Oct. 20, Tuesday, Nov. 1, and Wednesday, Nov. 2.
Walk-In Hours:
- Mon., Tues., Thu., Fri.: 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
- Wed.: 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

The cost is $20 for UA students and employees, which is covered by the Aetna Student Health Insurance Plan and most other billable insurances. Learn more here.

- Sunday, Oct. 8, 6 a.m. – 4 p.m., DuVal Auditorium, Banner – University Medical Center Tucson, 1501 N. Campbell Ave.
- Monday, Oct. 9, 6 a.m. – 6 p.m., DuVal Auditorium, Banner – UMC Tucson, 1501 N. Campbell Ave.
- Tuesday, Oct. 10, 6 a.m. – 6 p.m., DuVal Auditorium, Banner – UMC Tucson, 1501 N. Campbell Ave.
- Wednesday, Oct. 11, 6 a.m. – 6 p.m., Banner – UMC South, 2800 E. Ajo Way, Tucson
