8.0-CME 'Tucson Conference' Date Changed to Feb. 2 at Tucson Marriott University Park

Image of flyer for this event.Due to an unforeseen conflict, "THE TUCSON CONFERENCE"—an 8.0 CME event to be sponsored by Banner – University Medicine and Tucson Medical Center with multiple University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson faculty participating as instructors and panelists—has been moved to SaturdayFEB. 2, 2019, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Originally scheduled for Oct. 20, it will still be hosted at the Tucson Marriott University Park, 880 E. Second St.

Dr. Monica Kraft“While many of us may obtain our continuing medical education credits a number of ways, if you want to obtain eight hours in one day, this is your meeting,” said Monica Kraft, MD, professor of medicine, chair of the UA Department of Medicine, deputy director of the UA Health Sciences Asthma and Airway Disease Research Center and the UA’s Robert and Irene Flinn Endowed Chair of Medicine.

She along with Alan Rogers, MD, a physician with El Dorado Internal & Family Medicine and Arizona Community Physicians, and Robert Berens, MD, an anesthesiologist and medical director, TMC Integrative Pain Center, were the chief organizers for the event.

“There will be a variety of topics as well as a panel question/answer presentation by our own Banner/UA faculty and providers from our Tucson community. I am hoping this takes off and we can hold this yearly for providers inside and outside Tucson,” Dr. Kraft added.
