Kwan S. Lee, MD, again authored a daily “Off Script” blog and participated in panel discussions at TCT2018 in San Diego, a global conference on transcatheter cardiovascular therapeutics.
At TCT2018, Dr. Lee participated in panel discussions on the topics of “Cath Lab of the Future: Telemedicine and Robotics” and “Procedural Considerations in the OBL (Office-Based Lab).” He also joined co-authors—J.R. Exequiel T. Pineda, MD, PhD; Sharanyah Srinivasan, MBBS; Alane Blythe Dy, MScPH; Stefan Koester; Rishi Bhargava, MD, and Karl Kern, MD—in presentation of a poster, “Effect of Allura Xpef FD10 ECO X-ray Image Processing on Radiation Reduction during Cardiac Cath” (click image at left to enlarge).
Dr. Lee is an associate professor of medicine, associate director, UA Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program and associate chief of the UA Division of Cardiology, a member of the UA Sarver Heart Center and director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Cardiology Clinic at Banner – University Medical Center South. He also is president-elect of the Arizona Chapter of the American College of Cardiology.

In other news, Dr. Lee was an invited speaker on "Contemporary Management of Cardiac Arrest in the Cath Lab" on behalf of an SCAI (Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions) delegation to a Vietnam National Heart Association national meeting and Great Wall International Congress of Cardiology in Beijing China, both in mid-October 2018.
