GREELEY, Colo. – Banner Health’s North Colorado Medical Center has opened its doors for enrollment into the All of Us Research Program. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) leads the All of Us Research Program, and the University of Arizona and Banner Health are partners in this precision medicine effort, which aims to advance the health of future generations.
Unlike a single research study focused on a specific disease or population, All of Us will serve as a national research resource to inform thousands of studies, covering a wide variety of health conditions that affect many different people.
Participants will have opportunities over many years to provide additional data about themselves that will help researchers learn more about how individual differences in lifestyle, environment and biological makeup can influence health and disease. By taking part, participants will contribute to an effort to advance the health of generations to come.
“It is my hope that the All of Us Research Program at North Colorado Medical Center will serve as a catalyst for stronger state and local partnerships in health care and research,” said Michael Bradfield, MD, MPH, family medicine physician and All of Us regional medical director. “This study will strive to develop ways to measure risks for a range of diseases based on environmental exposures, genetic factors, regional health practices and the interplay between these factors. Our hope is that the local community will be partners in this research endeavor and in the coming years will have access to a wide range of study results that will help them live healthier lives through better disease prevention and treatment.”
Partners with the NIH since 2017, the University of Arizona and Banner Health currently enroll participants at 13 Arizona sites, and now offer enrollment into the All of Us Research Program onsite at North Colorado Medical Center.
All eligible adults who live in the United States can join the All of Us Research. Only people who are 18 or older can join. There are four ways to join:

- Download the All of Us Research Program app (Google Play or iTunes).
- Visit the North Colorado Medical Center All of Us Research Program enrollment site Monday – Friday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., at 1801 16th St., 3rd floor, North C Wing (C-3 North, Room C3-228).

Participants will be asked to create an account, give consent, agree to share access to their electronic health records and answer health surveys. They also may be invited to visit a Banner Health site for a free appointment to have their physical measurements taken and to provide blood and urine samples. Upon completion of all of these activities, participants are compensated $25.
As the UA-Banner Health Colorado regional medical director for the All of Us Research Program, Dr. Bradfield leads a team of three All of Us Research Program specialists at the site, including bilingual staff who speak English and Spanish.
