Cardiac Cath Lab reopens as retooled, larger operation at South campus

Scissor wielders Naphtali Kahl, RN (in white coat), and Brittany Davis, RN (right), director associate director of cardiology services at Banner – University Medical Center South, cut the ribbon to reopen the cardiac cath lab, which was renovated over the past year.

A new enlarged and retooled Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Banner – University Medical Center South opened Monday, July 10, 2023, marking the day the lab officially opened its doors for clinical operations with two surgeries scheduled that day.

Congratulations to the cardiology team for making health care easier so that life can be better for those with cardiovascular health needs.

Medical director for the hospital and all its clinics, including the cath lab, is Satinder Singh, MD, an assistant professor in the Division of Cardiology and a member of the University of Arizona Sarver Heart Center.
