Selfies anyone? GI division hosts holiday photo booth, Dec. 20-21

In the spirit of the season, the Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology invites all comers to join them in the hallway outside their office (COM-T Room 6402) to shoot selfies of themselves and colleagues at their 2023 GI Holiday Photo Booth display Dec. 20 and Dec. 21, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

There are two backgrounds and multiple props (hats, masks and other accoutrements) to choose from as personal décor for your photos, courtesy of GI fellowship coordinator Maria Longoria. 

"It's just a fun way to celebrate the festivities that go on around this time of year and share brighter moments with your coworkers before the university's winter break," Longoria said.

Added GI Division Chief Juanita Merchant, MD, PhD, "We look forward to working with all of you in the New Year with a lightened heart and renewed joy at the mission we serve in educating and training the next generation of physicians (in our case, gastroenterologists and hepatologists), and advancing research and excellent patient care."

The division sent an invitation Dec. 20 to all Department of Medicine faculty and staff, encouraging them to come and build a little team camaraderie by gathering for group photos in front of the two photo booth displays.
