DOM faculty see big future in summer research interns, trainees: For Endocrinology’s Jennifer Stern, PhD, one of 18 Department of Medicine faculty offering opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students to train in their labs this summer, she finds joy in sharing her knowledge and advancing their and her studies in the process. DOM Vice Chair for Research, Janet Funk, MD, said about 40 students were assisting with DOM research and learning how to apply science to solving medical challenges!
